
Singer/songwriter Steve Gascoigne has been on the scene for some twenty-six years with his rock/folk/country sound, his diverse influences include The Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, Elvis Costello, Bob Dylan, Tom Waits, Hank Williams, The Clash and Steve Earl to name a few.
Over the years, Steve has played in various set-ups, usually with drummer Karl Ruston, who played with Steve in the band "Train Of Thought". It was with these that Steve performed one of his most memorable gigs; with Jools Holland's influential band "Squeeze". Other highlights of Steve's career include a solo supporting of Joe Strummer.

For a period of his career, Steve played in various cover bands, however he's now back with some stunning new material, which he displays in various set-up's; sometimes solo, sometimes with keyboardist/guitarist/vocalist/banjo player Nick Rooke and guitarist/vocalist Kim Rooke, and finally the full band set-up includes Steve Gascoigne on guitar and vocals, Nick and Kim Rooke, Karl Ruston on drums and Mick Fell on bass guitar.
